Thinking about switching to Visible by Verizon? Let’s break it down:
✔️ What it is
✔️ What it costs
✔️ If it’s actually worth it
Visible is all about unlimited data, lower prices, and no store visits ever (aka, your introvert dreams come true). But is the experience actually good, or is it giving dollar-store Verizon vibes? Let’s find out.
So… What is Visible by Verizon?
Visible is a phone carrier (aka MVNO) that launched in 2018 and is fully owned by Verizon. Translation? You get Verizon’s powerful 5G/LTE network—without the Big Carrier drama.
It’s 100% digital. No stores. No paper bills. No awkward salespeople trying to upsell you a phone case. Just solid coverage and affordable unlimited plans.
Perfect for:
- Remote workers
- Data lovers
- People who hate contracts
- Anyone who wants Verizon-level coverage without the Verizon-level price tag
Visible Plans & Pricing
Visible keeps things refreshingly simple. There are three plans, and all of them include unlimited talk, text, and data—so you never have to stress about hitting a cap.
Here’s the breakdown:
Visible (Base Plan) – $25/month or $275/year

- Unlimited talk, text, and data
- Hotspot included (5 Mbps speed cap)
- Access to Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network
Visible+ – $35/month or $375/year

- All of the above, PLUS:
- Access to Verizon’s faster 5G Ultra Wideband network
- Premium network performance during congestion
- 10 Mbps hotspot speeds
Visible+ Pro – $45/month or $450/year

- Everything in Visible+
- 15 Mbps hotspot speeds
- 4K UHD video streaming
- Extra international perks
No surprise fees. No contracts. Just solid coverage and simple pricing. Love that for us.
My Review of Visible by Verizon
Here’s how Visible scored in my Goji grading system:
Price: A+
$25 for unlimited everything? That’s a major win. Even the premium plans stay cheaper than most big-carrier options.
Value: A-
You’re getting Verizon’s massive network for a fraction of the price. It’s a great option for anyone who just wants solid service without all the fluff.
Performance & Speed: B+
Speeds are good overall, but the base plan can get slowed during busy times. If speed’s your thing, Visible+ or Pro is where it’s at.
Coverage & Reliability: A
You’re on Verizon’s network, baby! That means coast-to-coast coverage and pretty reliable service almost everywhere.
Here is a snapshot of Visible by Verizon’s coverage across the country, but use Goji’s coverage map to check coverage at your location.

Customer Service: B
All support is digital. No store visits, no hold music, and no humans unless you’re chatting online. If that’s your vibe, it works.
What I Liked 👍
- That sweet, sweet price
- Verizon’s massive coverage
- Hotspot included (even on the base plan!)
- Unlimited data with no annual contract
What I Didn’t Like 👎
- Speeds dip on the base plan when it’s busy
- No in-person help (not great for the tech-averse)
- No perks like streaming services or international roaming unless you pay more

What Are People Saying About Visible?
We took a little stroll through the internet (hi, Reddit 👋) to see what real users are saying about their experience with Visible—and let’s just say, the vibes are surprisingly positive.
Here’s what we noticed:
Lower bills, same great coverage
Tons of users mentioned switching from Verizon to Visible and slashing their phone bills by a lot—with no noticeable drop in service. Some even said their signal improved. Win-win.
It’s literally Verizon
Several people pointed out that Visible runs directly on Verizon’s network—so if Verizon works well in your area, Visible should too. (And yes, it’s 100% owned by Verizon, so it’s not some sketchy off-brand situation.)
Digital-first perks
Many liked how everything is handled online—no store visits, no awkward phone calls. People also gave props to the app and the clean, simple user interface. If you’re a fan of doing everything from your phone (who isn’t?), Visible makes it easy.
A few caveats
Not everyone’s throwing a party. A couple of users reminded folks that if you're someone who needs in-person support or loves calling customer service (…anyone?), Visible might not be your jam.
Bottom line: People who’ve made the switch to Visible are mostly pretty happy about it—especially when they look at their monthly phone bill.
Should You Make the Switch to Visible?
If you’re looking for affordable, unlimited data on a powerhouse network, Visible is a no-brainer. It’s ideal for:
✔️ Solo users
✔️ Remote workers
✔️ Students and young adults
✔️ People tired of overpaying for the same Verizon coverage
That said, if you want extras (like international roaming), you’ll want to look at pricier plans—or at least upgrade to Visible+ or Pro.
But for most people?Visible is one of the best bang-for-your-buck options out there. Click here to use Goji to view and compare Visible plans.
